Report: Randall Cobb is expected to play Thursday night

Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said earlier this week that wide receiver Randall Cobb could be activated

from injured reserve to play against the Titans on Thursday night, and things seem to be moving forward.

Tom Pellicero of NFL Media reports that Cobb is expected to be in the lineup for the first time since suffering an ankle injury in their Week 6 loss to the Jets.

Cobb has participated in the team's light practice assignments this week

and the team has an open roster spot, so there is no need for a related move to get him on the active roster.

The Packers will lose another wide receiver on Thursday night as Romeo Dubs is ruled out with an ankle injury.

Allen Lazard, Christian Watson, Sammy Watkins and Samori Torre are the other wideout options.

Cobb has 18 catches for 257 yards this season
