Stephen 'Twitch' Boss, 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' Alum, Dead at 40

American television personality and former DJ on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Stephen "Twitch" Boss passed away on Wednesday.

Boss' wife Allison Holker Boss said in a statement to People, "It is with a heavy heart that I have to tell you about my husband, Stephen, who has left us

"Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends and community above all else and it was everything to him to lead with love and light."

Law enforcement sources tell us that Stephen's wife, Allison Holker, fled to an LAPD station on Tuesday,

And she was furious because she said that Stephen had left the house without his car - something that was not at all like him.

We're told, a short time later - around 11:15am - paramedics received a call for a medical emergency at an L.A. hotel...

And they found Stephen there, dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Stephen began DJing on Ellen's show in 2014, and was with her until the show ended in May 2022. He became an executive producer on the show in 2020.

He really got his big break in showbiz in 2008, when he was runner-up on "So You Think You Can Dance".

Stephen has hosted several reality shows... most notably, he and Allison hosted "Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings" together on Disney+

Allison and Stephen just celebrated their 9-year anniversary last Saturday. They got married in 2013. He had 3 children.
