See: Bubba Wallace's heartbroken death news on takeoff

On Tuesday morning, the media world learned that

rapper Takeoff had been shot and killed following an altercation at a bowling alley in Houston.

A part of the Migos that took off was just 28 years old.

In the hours following his tragic demise, the sports world has taken to social media to remember him and pray for his family.

NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace was among those who posted tributes for the takeoff.

He told me about meeting Migos and taking off a few years ago.

"Had the pleasure of taking off and meeting Migos in 2018,

down to earth and enjoyed every minute of the light. Rest easy my man!"  He said on Twitter.

Earlier today, Deion Sanders had a powerful message for his team about the death of takeoff.

"I'm sick and tired of the continuation of people who are influential to you,

who are constantly abandoning us — that's what our rappers are for," Sanders said.

"Takeoff was murdered at a dice game in Houston, where we're headed.

So that's where you all leave the hotel, because it ain't happening until I give you the f---ing notice "

Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Takeoff.
