NFL Reportedly Deciding Punishment For Mac Jones Play

Mac Jones made headlines last Sunday for a foul play, and the NFL took notice.

According to Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk, Jones is set to be fined over $11,000 for a dirty low block on Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Eli Apple.

Jones wasn't even trying to play the ball after turning it over. Here's a replay of the block:

This isn't the first time Jones has hit the headlines for dirty plays. He has been accused of foul play many times since coming to the NFL.

Even though Jones isn't getting suspended by the NFL, his wallet is still taking it just fine.

Hopefully, he will learn his lesson and never try anything like this again.

Meanwhile, the Patriots will look to keep their playoff hopes alive when they take on the Miami Dolphins on Jan. 1. Kickoff will be at 1 pm.et.
